Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is opening a new front in his attacks on President Barack Obama, blaming him for the deep ''sequestration'' cuts to defense and social programs due to take effect in 2013 if Congress and the White House can't agree on a plan to slash the US debt; Obama tops Romney in August fundraising. The kind of justice the American people need is a president who will go to work to reinvigorate our economy and put Americans back to work. It's hard for me to understand how the president would have as his attention not only reducing our military through cuts to its budget. But also proceeding with a sequestration program which will costs. Cost about a trillion dollars toward military capacity over the coming decade. This sequestration idea emanated from the White House. And it will result in the loss of thousands and thousands and hundreds of thousands of jobs across this country. And what we have is. A sequester which by the way nobody wants to see become law because it was designed specifically to be so onerous that congress would actually. Do something and let's not forget. I'm sure none of us but it. That the budget control act was. Not just. Passed with majority of both parties in both houses. It was celebrated as a victory. By Republicans. At the time --
