A new restaurant has opened in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower. Called "Restaumobile" it's in a truck and part of a week-long celebration of French food called "Tous au Restaurant," or "Everyone to the Restaurant". 1,200 eateries have signed up to give diners on tight budgets a chance to savor a three-course meal at a reduced price, often prepared by top chefs, like Alain Ducasse. SOUNDBITE: Alain Ducasse, top French chef, saying (French): "Celebration is about generosity, the small pricing, the action of sharing. We want to say that in difficult times, in times of crisis, we are also capable of being generous." And despite the vehicle's restricted space, the kitchen delivers some gastronomic gems. SOUNDBITE: Isabelle, Pellegrin, diner, saying (French): "I think this concept should become law as from today, and I hope that all restaurant owners will follow suit, it is a very good idea especially with the current economic problems." SOUNDBITE: Nicolas Gros, diner, saying (French): "This is very interesting; it allows me to discover great restaurants to which we don't usually have access. But it's the concept really that got our attention." "Restaumobile" will park at famous spots in the French capital and will dish up mouth-watering meals from September 17th to the 23rd.
