Sept. 18 - Barack Obama's campaign releases a new commercial focusing on Mitt Romney's remarks dismissing the president's supporters as 'victims' who are too dependent on the government. Deborah Gembara reports.

A new Obama campaign commercial is seizing on remarks Republican Mitt Romney made about the president's supporters. In it, voters are reportedly shown footage, secretly captured at a Republican fundraiser. (Obama campaign commercial) They're then asked to respond. (Obama campaign commercial) While Romney was silent on the issue, his spokesman has this to say. SOUNDBITE: KEVIN MADDEN, MITT ROMNEY SPOKESMAN SAYING: "We always ask ourselves as a campaign what matters to the voters. What matters to voters is whether or not we are going to have the answers that they need about how we are going to put the economy back on track, put the country going back in the right direction, so I think that's where our focus remains." The latest Reuters Ipsos poll shows Obama leading Romney by five percentage points.
