Turkish military have deployed armoured vehicles along the border with Syria as fighting intensifies between government forces and rebels. Stray bullets and shelling from Syria that made their way into Turkey earlier in the week have left residents frightened and panicked. Thousands have fled Syria into neighbouring Turkey to escape the fighting. Saturday, at least 12 people were rushed to the hospital for treatment. The United Nations says fighting between rebels and forces loyal to President Bashar al-Assad has disrupted the lives of more than two million Syrians.
