A chubby, rapping singer, wearing a tacky suit has earned the title of 'most liked' on YouTube.
Over 2.6 million people have given Psy's music video, "Gangnam Style," the stamp of approval - which is a new Guinness World Record.
Decked out in a bow tie and suit jackets varying from pink to baby blue, the 34-year-old busts funky moves based on horse-riding in venues ranging from playgrounds to subways.
Parodies have popped up around the world, with members of the United States Navy posting their own version.
Psy himself even gave pop star Britney Spears and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres personal dance lessons.
Visitors to New York's Times Square were eager to show off their Gangnam Style.
One young Australian student says classmates recently did a flash mob performance to the song.

A European tourist says most young people are attracted to the video's humor.

Currently, "Gangnam Style" is number one in 31 countries on the iTunes charts.
