Meat is murder. At least that's what videogame maker Capcom would have us believe. Resident Evil 6 is one of the Japanese company's most grizzly offerings. So, it's opened a butchers like no other in London's Smithfield meat market. Visiting could do you more 'arm than good. Dan Walsh is the PR manager for the game. (SOUNDBITE) (English) DAN WALSH, PUBLIC RELATIONS MANAGER, RESIDENT EVIL 6, SAYING: "The key thing for us is to make it look authentic, particularly on Friday and Saturday when members of the public come, you know they look at it they think 'that's a butcher's shop', then they say 'hang on, there's a hand there, there's a face, there's body so authenticity was the key for us really." Almost any part of the human body is available, and they're ready to eat. Food artist Sharon Baker turned butcher to make the creations, including a full size meat model of herself. (SOUNDBITE) (English) SHARON BAKER, FOOD ARTIST, SAYING: "This is me and I have to lie down and get covered in plaster bandage to make a mould. Then that mould gets flipped up and I filled the mould with meat, with bacon bits, quite big bacon bits, not knowing what would happen at all." Resident Evil 6 is the latest offering in a rapidly expanding franchise. Its release comes a month after the fifth film, Resident Evil: Retribution. As this publicity stunt would suggest, the game won't be short of gore, says Capcom's Adam Merrett. (SOUNDBITE) (English) ADAM MERRETT, UK PUBLIC RELATIONS MANAGER, CAPCOM, SAYING: "It's got such a strong brand heritage and that's only going to get deeper and deeper. I think head shots before maybe you just saw some kind of graphical thing, now you see the detail of a brain, so yeah this reflects the game perfectly, it's gruesome and horrific, as is the game." The meat market marketing stunt will be on display for two days. Capcom hopes this grizzly display will help it make a killing when Resident Evil 6 is released on October 2. Andrew Potter, Reuters
