Chanel held its Spring/Summer 2013 catwalk show on Tuesday (October 2) as part of Paris Fashion Week. The show was a star studded event with Jennifer Lopez in attendance. Dressed in a short cream lace dress, the actress/singer brought her four-year-old daughter Emme to the event. Also in attendance, sitting front and center was supermodel Laetitia Casta who said she considered Chanel, the epitome of French style. (SOUNDBITE) (English) MODEL AND ACTRESS LAETITIA CASTA SAYING: "It's so chic, it's so French, it's, you know. Actually, it's like a monument today, I think. You know, Chanel it's so many meanings, so many things." Chanel's collection featured a series of strapless white column dresses with intricate embroidery in floral patterns, shorts in sportswear mesh fabric, and rainbow boucle jackets. One of the most notable designs was a Chanel purse made of quilted leather with two hula hoops and the iconic logo.
