Armstrong removes Tour de France titles from Twitter

Oct. 23 - A day after getting his Tour de France titles officially stripped, Lance Armstrong deletes the victories from his Twitter biography. Deborah Gembara reports.

For years, his name has been linked with cycling's most grueling race. A day after he was banned from the sport for life and stripped of his seven Tour de France titles, Lance Armstrong took the first public step to acknowledging his new reality. He deleted all reference to his Tour wins in his Twitter biography. The International Cycling Union ratified the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency's sanctions against him on Monday, destroying Armstrong's last hope of clearing his name after being exposed for cheating. To his more the million followers on the social networking site, Armstrong now simply states he is: "Raising my 5 kids. Fighting Cancer. Swim, bike, run and golf whenever I can."
