PLEASE NOTE: EDIT CONTAINS CONVERTED 4:3 MATERIAL. ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: South Korean rapper Psy danced his way into the United Nations on Tuesday (October 23). The mastermind behind the hit "Gangnam Style" met with U.N. chief Ban Ki-moon to discuss how they can work together on global issues. As the two met, Ban remarked on the amount of press at the event: "What a big crowd we have. I've never seen such a big crowd." Ban's spokesman, Martin Nesirky, told reporters that while the secretary-general deals with weighty issues such as the conflict in Syria and crises in Mali and the Sahel region, he also believed it was important to engage other parts of society. During a photo op Psy attempted to teach Ban, a South Korean, his popular dance, with Ban sheepishly refusing saying he was nervous. Psy's song "Gangnam Style," which mocks the consumerism of a rich Seoul suburb, and hit horse-riding-style dance went viral on video-sharing website YouTube. It has been viewed more than 560 million times on YouTube since it was released in mid-July. The 34-year-old rapper counted the meeting as a highlight of his career. "Unbelievable, really, this is much better feeling than when I did number two on Billboard," he told reporters. After the photo op the two met privately to discuss how they can best work together in the future.
