Syrian rebels storm a house of a suspected government militia man in the border town of Haram on Friday - hours after a declared ceasefire. After days of fighting rebels from the Idlib Martyr's Brigade reached ceasefire day in control of around half the town. Rebel groups are trying to seize a continuous area of territory along the Turkish frontier. Suspected government fighters are rounded up and placed in the back of a pick-up truck. Martyr's Brigade chief Basel Eissa tells them they will be treated fairly. The rebels here say the government breached the ceasefire brokered by peace envoy Lakhdar Brahimi, shelling since the early hours of the morning. President Bashar al-Assad's government had signed up to the truce for the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha, along with some rebel groups, but had reserved the right to respond to attacks by militants. Here on Saturday, looking across from Turkey - shots were head and smoke seen, probable signs of continuing conflict in the border area. Syrian opposition activists say elsewhere major cities were been bombarded including near Damascus and in Aleppo. The truce was called by international peace envoy Lakhdar Brahimi in a bid to finally end the 19-month conflict which has left an estimated 32,000 dead.
