After stinging defeats, Republican Todd Akin of Missouri thanked God and said he never trusts the polls, and Republican Richard Mourdock of Indiana warned that the world is becoming a more dangerous place. In Connecticut, Linda McMahon did not regret spending more than $40 million of her own money on a second losing senate race. In Massachusetts, Democrat Elizabeth Warren promised to ''hold the big guys accountable.'' (November 07, 2012)
