ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)
STORY: On the second day of Fashion Rio's 22nd edition, Brazilian designers continued to show their creations for the next winter season.
In a country not known for its cold temperatures, designers say the challenge is to create clothes that feel like the Southern Hemisphere's winter, but look like summer.
For that they're investing in strong, vivid colours, and trying to stay way from heavy materials such as wool and cotton.
One of the main attractions of the night was the show by Brazilian label, Sacada.
For the second leg of the event, Rio de Janeiro's fashionistas descended on the city's port area.
People from all walks of life and backgrounds could be seen walking around, eagerly awaiting for the next show.
The other success of the night was the show by Ellus Second Floor, also a Brazilian label.
It too used strong, vibrant colours on tops with shoulder pads and geometric silhouettes.
The final day of Fashion Rio's 22nd edition will be Friday, November 9th.
