Director Steven Spielberg joined his all-star cast on the red carpet on a rainy Thursday night (November 08) for the Los Angeles premiere of the biography drama film, "Lincoln." In the film, Spielberg directs two-time Academy Award winner Daniel Day-Lewis, in a revealing drama that focuses on the 16th President's tumultuous final months in office. At the premiere, the filmmaker explained his desire, in not only telling the dramatic history behind the events, but also to use the film in an effort to hold a mirror up to what is happening today politically, with the government and in peoples' homes. "Lincoln" has a limited U.S. release on November 09, with a nationwide rollout set for November 16.
