Robert De Niro and Bradley Cooper reunite for the new film "Silver Linings Playbook." The movie, which is part love story, drama and a little comedy, stars Cooper a man working to reclaim his life after an eight month stint in a state institution. Cooper said De Niro and his character were closer to who they are in real life. SOUNDBITE: Bradley Cooper, actor, saying (English): "I got to play his son and we got to have much more heated scenes physically and comically. We just had more to chew on in this movie." As Cooper's character regains his footing in the real world, he meets a widow played by Jennifer Lawrence. Their relationship along with comedian Chris Tucker's character ushers in unexpected comedic relief. SOUNDBITE: Chris Tucker, actor, saying (English): "My character definitely has some comedy to it because he plays it real, but my character just shows up out of nowhere, my character is real positive, he knows the legal - the law pretty well, so he is just kind of a funny character, not trying to be funny, but comedy comes out of the situation." One of the other things providing humor in the film was the families love of football and their wacky superstitions. Both Cooper and Jacki Weaver revealed their supernatural beliefs. SOUNDBITE: Bradley Cooper, actor, saying (English): "Today, like I saw 11:11 on my watch today, so it's going to be a good day." SOUNDBITE: Jacki Weaver, actress, saying (English): "I don't say this Scottish word in the theater, I work in the theater a lot. They say it's bad luck - see I'm not going to say it, that Scottish play by Shakespeare. You shouldn't say it in the theater because it's bad luck. You think I'm insane? You wouldn't be wrong." And since we're not in the theater, the word is Macbeth. "Silver Linings Playbook" will have a limited U.S. release on November 16th and will open nationwide on November 21st.
