Nov. 15 - Japanese wine lovers celebrate the launch of this year's Beaujolais Nouveau in a large bath filled with water and red wine. Tara Cleary reports.

Aromatic, light-bodied with a hint of fruit -- the popular Beaujolais Nouveau.
And these Japanese wine lovers are enthusiastically indulging in the grape, by sipping and dipping in Beaujolais.
Sommelier Shunji Kanaya explains.
SOUNDBITE: Shunji Kanaya, sommelier for the Hot Spring Resort, saying (Japanese):
"Wine's good for your health, so we made this bath to let it soak into your skin. We reckon it's brilliant for creating beautiful smooth skin."
This particular wine pool celebrates the launch of the 2012 Beaujolais Nouveau season.

"I bought three bottles of Beaujolais Nouveau on my trip to France, so for me drinking this wine brings back memories of my time there."

So for these connoisseurs the consensus seems clear: pour, sip and soak, to good health.
