A monkey made entirely out of chocolate. Despite its huge size and intricate details it's just a small part of a larger sculpture - a three-story high chocolate tree. Complete with resident apes and sprawling roots, the tree stands five meters or 16 feet tall and is estimated to weigh 5,000 kilograms - that's more than 11,000 pounds. It stands in the shop of Parisian chocolate-maker Patrick Roger, who carefully crafted the forest scene from the ground up with no structural support. SOUNDBITE: Chocolatier Patrick Roger saying (French) "It's very risky, because when you carry a piece -- for example yesterday we carried a monkey and it crumbled and then it was completely pulverized." The chocolate artist has been fusing the sweet with art for 30 years and has made large chocolate sculptures in the past. This year's scene is intended to highlight the importance of biodiversity.
