The world's best b-boy crews converged on the French city of Montpellier for the world championship of breakdancing, the Braun Battle of the Year.
Eighteen teams from seventeen different countries fought in a head-spinning battle with each crew performing a six-minute choreographed routine.
They were judged on synchronicity, stage-presence, choreography and their choice of music.
In the end the final battle was against Vagabonds of France and Flooriorz of Japan.
But with their signature display of incredible power moves, fast footwork and choreographed routines France's Vagabonds were successful in defending their title.
Battle of the Year started in 1990 in Germany and is the biggest and longest-running breakdancing competition in the world.
