Rihanna touched down in London on Monday for the latest leg of her whirlwind 777 tour. The mega-selling R&B star switched on the Christmas lights in east London. The London stop-over is part of an ambitious tour that sees her perform in seven different countries on seven consecutive days. It coincides with the release of her latest record, entitled "Unapologetic." SOUNDBITE: Rihanna, saying (English) : "I'm very proud of it. I actually love this album like it wasn't mine, like I was listening to it with somebody else singing it." The singer also treated the crowd to a performance of her new single "Diamonds". Rihanna then headed to a secret location in north London for an intimate gig in front a small number of lucky fans. SOUNDBITE: 20-year-old fan Sally, saying (English): "She sent that tweet, just go to the Forum, and came here. Dropped out of a lecture." SOUNDBITE: 20-year-old fan John, saying (English): "I actually found out on Facebook this morning and I've been going mad all day trying to get tickets but I haven't been able to so." SOUNDBITE: Fiden, saying (English): "He was ringing me at work all day." SOUNDBITE: Sarah, fan, saying (English): "Yes yes yes. Whenever she comes, we try to meet her. We stay outside her hotels. No matter how cold it is, minus four degrees. We will wait for you Rihanna." Some 200 people, including journalists and fans are accompanying Rihanna aboard her private plane on the whistle-stop tour. The Rihanna show will next head to New York City for the tour's finale.
