Seventy inmates of this Bangkok prison are competing in a "Gangnam Style" dance competition. Prisoners serving time for crimes ranging from robbery to drug smuggling have been dancing to South Korean rapper Psy's catchy beat since October. Prison officials said that they started the mass dance-off in the hopes to reduce violence among inmates and it seems to have been a success. The team with the best synchronized moves won a trophy, food and new clothes. While there could be only one winning team, for most inmates the competition meant a temporary break from their life behind bars. SOUNDBITE: 34-year-old inmate Sakchai Sriraksa, saying (Thai) "We don't have freedom, at least for now, so this activity can help us relax and get rid of stress." "Gangnam Style" is the most-watched music video ever posted on Youtube with more than 800 million hits and could become the first video ever to reach one billion views.
