TV AND WEB RESTRICTIONS ~ **- NO ACCESS USA / CNN / AOL / YAHOO / WIRELESS**~ The Power Player today is a Missouri couple, Mark and Cindy Hill. And they truly are power players winning half of the record $587.5 million Powerball jackpot. Cindy Hill bought the lucky lottery ticket at a her local Trex Mart gas station and convenience store about 30 miles north of Kansas City, Missouri. (SOUNDBITE): CINDY HILL, POWERBALL WINNER, SAYING (ENGLISH): "My husband gave me, he said "Oh, go buy..," he gave me ten dollars "Go, buy ten lottery tickets." I am like "Honey, they're two dollars each." So he goes "Okay, buy five." So that's what I did and happened to be the middle numbers that won. So." The couple lives in the small rural town of Dearborn, Missouri with the population of about 500. They accepted the prize surrounded by their three sons and their adopted daughter from China. (SOUNDBITE): CINDY HILL, POWERBALL WINNER, SAYING (ENGLISH): "We're pretty grounded and we virtually hoard our lives, and we know the value of the dollar. So other than a few trips here and there, and college funds, we're just the same people. My husband's keeping the same old pickup, so. He did ask for a red Camaro though. I have to say that." Cindy Hill was an office manager laid off in June, 2010. Mark Hill had been unemployed until recently, when he found a job as a mechanic for Hillshire Brands, a food company. (SOUNDBITE): CINDY HILL, POWERBALL WINNER, SAYING (ENGLISH): "It's just surreal. I mean, it's like you're in a dream, and it's not really happening, you know. And every once in a while you look at each other and go "Did we really win that money, you know? Is this real?" The Hills are one of two jackpot winners. The second Powerball ticket was sold at a food store in Fountain Hills, Arizona, on the outskirts of Phoenix. That winner has not yet come forward.
