A U.S. drone has been captured while flying over Iranian air space - this according to Iran's Press TV.
The ScanEagle unmanned aerial vehicle was gathering information over the Persian Gulf when it was captured by the naval unit of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps.
Press TV said it was captured some time "in the last few days", but it wasn't clear how.
But the U.S. Navy denies any drone has been lost over the Gulf recently.
In November, the United States said Iranian warplanes shot at a U.S. surveillance drone flying in international airspace, while Iran said it had overflown its borders.
The ScanEagle is manufactured by Boeing.
The small military plane is four feet long and has a 10-foot wingspan.
