Cole to GOP: Embrace Obama's middle-class tax plan (6:51)
Rep. Tom Cole (R-Oklahoma) says he is optimisticRepublicans and Democrats will reach a deal to avert the fiscal cliff. Speaking to Tom Ferraro of Reuters, Cole adds that a vote to extend tax cuts for middle- income Americans, opposed by Speaker Boehner, would be ''a victory for common sense'' and would help the GOP in the larger debt fight to come.
