ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)
STORY: Betty White opened Universal Studios Hollywood's "Grinchmas" holiday celebration on December 6, where she received the park's 'Who-Manitarian of the Year' award. The 90-year-old actress accepted the honor, surrounded by a live cast of characters from Dr. Seuss' "How the Grinch Stole Christmas." Named after Seuss' characters the 'Whos,' the "Who-Manitarian" award was presented to White to honor her efforts on behalf of animals - a lifelong animal advocate, she has already been named Los Angeles' "Ambassador to the Animals" and is chairman of the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association. Universal Studios' "Grinchmas" celebration will run nightly through December 31, and features music, real snow, and a Grinch-inspired 60 foot curving Christmas tree.
