Dec. 8 - Hundreds of protesters gather in Yangon, calling for an apology from President Thein Sein, over a violent crackdown on a mine protest. Rough Cut (no reporter narration).

(ROUGH CUT - NO REPORTER NARRATION) Monks were among the injured in a riot police crackdown at a mine protest in late November, and they showed posters with pictures of the injuries at Saturday's demonstration. Monks, young and old, joined together with protesters, singing and marching through central Yangon.
