ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: Jude Law received the Variety Award, which recognises talent which puts an international focus on the UK, at the Moet British Independent Film Awards on Sunday (December 9). "Well you know, it's not something you dwell on. I'm not someone that goes out to make films to get awards. You've just got to do the job at hand. But this is - like you said - a celebration of a body of work and it's been a very fruitful and interesting 20 years. So it's a thrill when you get recognised after a period of time. What can I say?" he told Reuters Television on the red carpet at Old Billingsgate Market. The Moet British Independent Film Awards - affectionately known as the BIFAs - is now in its 15th year.
