One Direction rings in the season

Dec. 10 - The boy band joined Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and more for New York's Jingle Ball concert. Alicia Powell reports.

The holiday season found its groove at Z100's Jingle Ball. Chart toppers including One Direction, The Wanted and Taylor Swift shared the spotlight at New York's Madison Square Garden for the annual holiday concert. Before the show, Liam Payne from the boy band One Direction said they were thrilled to be back on the legendary stage. SOUNDBITE: Liam Payne, One Direction, saying (English): "It's amazing, we got to play MSG the other day so we're still excited from that. Now we get to play it again, you know, we're really lucky boys, so we're really looking forward to it." Country star Taylor Swift shared similar sentiments. SOUNDBITE: Taylor Swift, singer, saying (English): "It's unbelievable, this is Madison Square Garden, Jingle Ball, it's amazing to play here for a second time. I played here a few years ago so it's great to be back." Bringing in a little more indie pop were fun. and bringing in the headlines was Lindsay Lohan whose appearance fueled rumors she's dating Max George from The Wanted. Also included in the lineup where R&B star Ne-Yo and Justin Bieber.
