Rivera's plane found, Kevin Clash faces a fourth accuser

Dec 10 - The day's top showbiz news and headlines including the wreckage of Jenni Rivera's plane is found, Kevin Clash - the voice of Elmo - faces a fourth accuser, and Beyonce signs a deal with Pepsi. Bob Mezan reports.

Authorities in Mexico have located the wreckage of Jenni Rivera's plane. The singer's jet went down near the northern city of Monterrey on Sunday (December 09). Rivera sold some 15 million records in her career, won several awards and received multiple Grammy nominations. She was 43.
Another man has filed a lawsuit against Kevin Clash - the voice of Elmo. That makes a total of 4 men who claim they had sexual relationships with Clash as a minor. According to online tabloid TMZ, the accuser says he first met Clash in Miami Beach in 1995 or 1996, while he was 16 or 17 and Clash was in his mid '30s. Of Clash's 4 accusers, only 3 have filed lawsuits. The first accuser struck a settlement with Clash and agreed not to pursue litigation.
Beyonce is making bank on a new deal with Pepsi. According to various reports, the singer signed a new, 50 million dollar deal with the soda company. As part of the deal, Pepsi is sponsoring her Super Bowl half-time show as well as an upcoming world tour.
Finally, Robert De Niro was honored over the weekend by Kirk Douglas, who presented him with the Santa Barbara International Film Festival's Kirk Douglas Award For Excellence in Film. De Niro was honored for his extensive film career, which spans four decades.
