Stollen is serious business … especially with a cake the size of this one. The German city of Dresden celebrated the Christmas treat in a big way - three and a half meters or around 11 feet of it. The Stollenfest is in its 19th year and Henry Mueller of Dresden's baking guild says he never would have dreamed the charity event would remain a success for so long. SOUNDBITE: Henry Mueller member of the Dresden baker's guild, saying (German): "This year, 'Sonnenstrahl' gets all the proceeds of the 'Stollenfest'. It's an association which cares for children with cancer and their families. It is always important that you give something back of what you have earned, especially during Christmas season we would like to think about other people." And for some visitors, like this little guy, Stollenfest is an opportunity to have your cake and eat it too.
