The ballots are still being counted - but it looks like a familiar face is poised to lead Japan. Exit polls suggest the country's Liberal Democratic Party has won a resounding victory in national elections. The result would return former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to the country's top job. He quit the position in 2007 citing ill health. He told reporters that he planned to change the country's pacifist constitution to give Japan a bigger role in global security. That message comes with Japan locked in bitter row with China over uninhabited islands in the Pacific Ocean. Television exit polls suggest Abe's party won roughly two-thirds of the seats in parliament's powerful lower house. That would give the LDP an easy victory over the Democratic Party of incumbent Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda.
