STORY: Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, made her first public appearance since being treated in hospital for severe morning sickness. She attended the BBC's Sports Personality of the Year Awards in London on Sunday (16 December). Backstage, she spoke with guests and sports stars, including Olympic heptathlon champion Jessica Ennis, who came runner-up in the poll as well as former footballer and TV presenter Gary Lineker and paralympian Martine Wright. The prestigious prize was won by cyclist Bradley Wiggins, however all eyes were on the Duchess.
