Dec. 22 - China shows off its new train link that halves travelling time between Beijing and Guangzhou - the world's longest high speed railway line. Rough Cut (no reporter narration.)

This train will operate on the longest high speed-rail route in the world, halving the travel time between Beijing and Guangzhou.
This high rate of rail development is overshadowed by concerns for safety, after a high-speed train crash killed 40 people last year.
China needs billions more in rail investment for cargo transport, passenger transport and developing commuter lines in its mega-cities.
