White collar workers and university students got to release some stress and forget about the pressures of life by taking part in a pillow fight in Shanghai on Saturday (December 22). The pillow fight, which has taken place just before Christmas for the last six-successive years, was designed as a creative outlet for releasing stress. Around 200 participants held pillows above their heads as organizers counted down before the 10-minute fight which saw pillows and feathers flying through the air. The Creative Party Network, the organizers of soft combat events, had outlined three rounds of pillow fights with distinct variations in rules, but they soon learned it was impossible to break the keen warriors apart once engaged. Those taking part said the fighting, while sometimes leaving one defenseless, is, as you would expect, great fun. Tickets to take part in the pillow fight cost around 29 dollars (USD).
