Hugh Hefner is a newly married man. The 86-year old Playboy founder married 26-year old Crystal Harris - the one-time "runaway bride" who followed through this time at a New Year's Eve wedding. The wedding was more than a year after their planned 2011 nuptials were canceled when Harris got cold feet. This marks the third marriage for Hefner.
Justin Bieber has released a statement regarding the death of a photographer, who was killed while attempting to take pictures of his car. Bieber wrote that he hoped the tragedy would inspire legislation to "protect the lives and safety of celebrities, police officers, innocent public bystanders, and the photographers themselves." The photographer - Chris Guerra - was struck by a car while trying to take pictures of Bieber's car and its occupants - the singer himself was not in the car at the time of the accident.
Finally, Bruce Springsteen has been selected as the Grammy Awards' MusiCares Person of the Year. The singer is being honored for his decades of musical accomplishments as well his philanthropic work. A tribute to Springsteen is planned for February 8 in Los Angeles and will feature performances by Elton John, Mumford & Sons and Kenny Chesney among others.
