Grief in the Philippines after a lone gunman on a rampage kills at least seven people.
Two children and a pregnant mother are among the dead.
A woman lost her seven year old grandchild in the attack.
(SOUNDBITE) (Filipino) GRANDMOTHER OF VICTIM, ANIOLINA CAIMOL SAYING:
"My three grandchildren went up the stairs when they heard him coming. We were scared when we heard the gunshots. Some of us fled to our neighbors in fear."
The gunman Raymond Bae was later killed exchanging fire with police.
So far there is no explanation for the rampage that left at least five wounded.
(SOUNDBITE) (Filipino) SURVIVOR RAUL RABERO SAYING:
"I was happily talking to my family when he came inside and started firing his gun. We ran away in fear."
Authorities apprehended a man seen reloading Bae's gun.
Survivors said Bae was well known in the neighborhood and had once vied for the post of village chief.
