(Rough Cut: No Reporter Narration)
Stars sparkled on the Critics' Choice red carpet just several hours after the Oscar nominations were announced. Anne Hathaway glittered in silver while Jessica Chastain popped in a coral gown. Jennifer Lawrence stunned on the carpet in a black Prabal Gurung gown, accessorized with Jimmy Choo heels and Chopard jewels. Marion Cotillard went retro-chic in a colorful floral, Zuhair Murad dress with a cut-out back. Helen Hunt opted for color in a fitted red Phillip Armstrong dress and Naomi Watts chose a black, strapless Emilio Pucci number. The men stayed with the familiar neutral territory choosing mostly black and grey hues for their suits. The event was held in an airport hangar in Santa Monica on a chilly Southern California evening. The awards were handed out ahead of Sunday's Golden Globes and a slew of other award shows that narrow the field for the Oscars, which will be held on February 24.
