"Argo" won the top prize - best dramatic movie - at the 70th annual Golden Globes on Sunday (January 13). The Iranian hostage film also earned its director, Ben Affleck, a Globe - three days after he failed to get an Oscar nomination in the same category. On the muscial-comedy side, no surprise here - "Les Miserables" won big with best picture, best actor for Hugh Jackman and best supporting actress for Anne Hathaway. The ceremony was marked by two other big moments. Jodie Foster, who was given a lifetime achievement award, publicly acknowledged that she is gay. And Adele, who co-wrote the theme to this year's James Bond film, "Skyfall," nudged out Taylor Swift to take home the award for best original song. Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, will have her baby in July. The official announcement came on Monday (January 14), although still nothing has been said about the sex of the baby. The July due date comes as a bit of a surprise, as many were expecting her to deliver in May or June. Lance Armstrong met with staff at his Livestrong center in Texas on Monday - and reportedly apologized to them for letting them down and putting the company at risk. The apology comes just days before a planned, televised interview with Oprah Winfrey, that's being pegged as his first tell-all since the doping charges against him and ban from cycling.
