ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Donatella Versace kicked off Paris couture week on Sunday (January 20) with her latest creations for Atelier Versace, the haute couture wing of the Italian label's fashion empire. "The clients of couture want something unique. We want to maximize glamour and maximize beauty. And this is what I try to do", said Versace, celebrating the creative potential that the extravagance of couture offers a designer. The collection glittered with colour and luxury, as fluorescent neon yellow hues sat alongside black pinstripe suits threaded with real 24-carat gold. Celebrities in attendance at Paris's domed Le Centorial, included Oscar winner Kevin Costner, who attended the show with his wife Christine Baumgartner and his mother. Paris Haute Couture Week runs through Thursday (January 24).
