Popular South Korean actor Jang Hyuk has teamed up with top K-Pop star Yoon Du-jun for the TV series, "IRIS II." Acting veteran Jang will play the role of a team leader in South Korea's National Security Service. And Yoon, from the popular boy band BEAST, plays a young agent in the team. Thirty-six-year-old Jang says he's focused on getting to know his character. SOUNDBITE: Jang, actor, saying (Korean): "Understanding my character in the drama is more important than describing or acting out the character to persuade viewers. Yoon says he finds it challenging to separate his public image and his on-screen character and wonders how the role will affect his persona. SOUNDBITE: Yoon, singer, saying (Korean): "It's a burden to act for TV viewers as a K-Pop star since my image should be different on TV from my image on stage. But it's my obligation to handle it." The show is a story of love, friendship and betrayal involving the spies of the the National Security System. It also depicts a struggle between the agents and a secret organization at the time of tension between North and South Korea.
