Lindsay Lohan successfully made her way from New York to Los Angeles on Wednesday (January 30) in order to make a mandatory court appearance. Rumors were circling that Lohan wouldn't make the hearing - her lawyer had previously submitted papers saying that she was too ill to fly. The hearing was mostly a formality, with the judge setting a March 18 trial date, and an additional March 01 hearing, for which Lohan will not need to be present. Lohan is charged with three misdemeanor counts filed following a June car crash, to all of which she has pleaded not guilty. If found guilty, she could face jail time for violating her probation for a 2011 jewelry theft. Barbra Streisand may be a familiar figure at the Oscars, but she has only sung at the awards show once. Streisand will perform again at the Academy Awards on February 24. But no details were released about how her appearance would fit into the show or what she might sing. Streisand, 70, has won two Oscars, one for best actress in "Funny Girl" and another for best original song, "Evergreen" from "A Star Is Born." Her performance of the song at the 1977 Oscars show was her only previous onstage appearance. Justin Timberlake will perform at the Grammy Awards this year. This is the first time in four years that Timberlake will take to Grammy stage, an appearance that lines up with the launch of his first studio album in seven years. Timberlake will join a slew of other performers including Rihanna, Taylor Swift and Elton John on the awards show stage on Sunday, February 10. Ashley Judd and her Scottish race car driver husband Dario Franchitti are ending their marriage after 11 years. The movie star and the Indy race car driver married in 2001 in Scotland and have no children. No reason was given for the split. Judd has recently been mentioned as a possible Democratic candidate from Kentucky for the U.S. Senate in 2014, although she has made no formal announcement.
