Fighter jets carried out air strikes on a rural community in Damascus in this latest video posted to a social media website whose content Reuters cannot independently verify.
Plumes of smoke could be seen rising from the hillside and locals reported heavy shelling on more developed parts of Damascus such as Douma where several people struggled to put out a fire. Syria's uprising, which started almost two years ago is estimated to have claimed more than 60,000 lives according to human rights groups.
