Is there a better way to celebrate Valentine's Day than kissing for hours and hours?
These nine couples are locking lips with the hopes of breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest continuous kiss.
The oldest couple, Pannajet and Suwanna Yomjinda, are in their seventies.
SOUNDBITE: Suwanna Yomjinda, 72-year-old kissing competition contestant saying (Thai):
"I'm not sure if we'll win because of our age but if I was younger, we would surely win. But we'll do our best anyway."
The current kissing record is also held by a Thai couple at 50 hours 25 minutes and 1 second.
Rules dictate that the couples must remain continuously lip-locked and stay in a space of 3.2 square feet.
But smooching this long isn't all in the name of love -- the winners will take home a cash prize and diamond rings valued at more than $6,000 (USD).
