A car bomb explodes in a Damascus neighborhood -- the apparent work of a militant willing to sacrifice his life.
This as rebels slowly close in on Syria's capital.
Video obtained by Reuters shows rebel forces planning an attack ...part of a 10 day operation that ended February 7th.
They make use of equipment captured from government forces.
On the streets they leave warnings on walls -- this one says;"Sniper, run 5 meters"
Fighting in the nearly two-year-old conflict intensified in the weeks since opposition leaders offered to negotiate with the government.
Neighborhoods are torn apart. Buildings beyond repair.
The Syrian uprising has become the bloodiest of the Arab revolts that already toppled four governments. More than 60,000 people have been killed, and the death toll just keeps going higher.
