Victim's family withholds judgment against "Blade Runner"

Feb. 15 - The uncle of the late model Reeva Steenkamp says her family will not make a judgment on the situation surrounding her tragic death and will wait for court proceedings to reveal all the circumstances. Mana Rabiee reports.

Oscar Pistorius went back into police custody Friday after prosecutors in Pretoria charged him with the shooting death of his girlfriend, model Reeva
The 26-year-old sports icon sobbed in court as the judge read the murder charge during a hearing attended by his family.
Meanwhile, relatives of Reeva Steenkamp have been gathering at her family home in Port Elizabeth.

(SOUNDBITE) (English) UNCLE OF REEVA STEENKAMP, MIKE STEENKAMP, SAYING:
"We have not been watching TV, we have not been listening to radio, so it has been quite completely different inside the household...The answer will come out, and I must just say something: if you really believe in the law that will come out, and we don't have to make any judgment, the judgment will be done then."
Pristorius did not enter a plea in court Friday but his family issued a statement, his first since his arrest.
It said he sends "his deepest sympathies" to the family of Reeva Steenkamp, the girlfriend he is now charged with killing.
