ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: Fashion brand Gucci kicked off the Milan Fall/Winter 2013 fashion week with an array of sculpted dresses in 3D motifs on Wednesday (February 20). Actress Salma Hayek sat on the front row alongside her husband Francois-Henri Pinault, the CEO of luxury brands holding company PPR that owns Gucci, and his step-daughter Mathilde. For fall 2013 Gucci's creative director Frida Giannini created a sexy yet powerful silhouette for her femme fatale. The designer created short jackets narrow at the waist with rounded shoulders paired with skirts that fell below the knee creating a slender silhouette. Astrakhan coats came in rust or blue with geometric cuts emphasizing shoulders and waist. Materials came in precious skins, like python and crocodile, to celebrate Gucci's luxury taste. For the evening, models wore dresses with colored feathers stitched on sheer lace for an exotic look. Shoes included booties and sandals with sharp thin heels. Giannini, who is going to have her baby in a couple of weeks, greeted the audience at the end of the show, wearing a large black silk shirt to cover her visible baby bump.
