Mexican police are investigating the death of a Belgian tourist gunned down in the resort town of Acapulco. Officers say the 58-year-old man was shot Saturday evening during an attempted car-jacking. Police believe the man resisted two assailants who were trying to take his Mercedes convertible. The shooting took place just minutes away from the city's landmark Princess hotel, site of next week's Mexico Open professional tennis tournament. Drug-related violence has been on the rise in Acapulco and last year the city was Mexico's murder capital.
