March 5 - A Chinese takeout delivery man admits he was the mystery figure dressed as Batman who handed over a suspect at an English police station in the middle of the night. Tara Cleary reports.

Batman gets his man! The mystery superhero - seen here with a wanted suspect at England's Bradford police station - has been unmasked. SOUNDBITE: Stan Worby, Chinese Takeout delivery man, dressed in Batman costume, saying (English): "Yes, my name is Stan Worby. I am 39 year old, and I am a delivery driver in Wyke." Worby says the suspect is a friend of his, Danny Frayne, who needed help turning himself into authorities. But the phone call for help came at an inopportune time. Worby was at a football game in fancy dress, leading to a fashion statement that catapulted him into the limelight. SOUNDBITE: Stan Worby, Chinese Takeout delivery man, dressed in Batman costume, saying (English): "Obviously I had been at Wembley, I told him he'd have to wait till I come home. So obviously, after the game, I set off for home, got home, roughly about one o'clock. Come on home, got my car. And obviously I took him down to police station. Obviously it was done as a joke. That was the main thing." Reporter asking: "You didn't think to get changed?" Stan Worby saying: "No, no. Obviously he wanted to get straight down. Obviously I wanted my bed. It was half one in the morning." Worby's friend was successfully handed over to police and charged with handling stolen goods. And Batman has returned to his day job.
