"Ted" and "Django" go head to head

March 07 - The two films lead the pack of nominees for the 2013 MTV Movie Awards. Alicia Powell reports.

"Django Unchained" and "Ted" lead the pack of nominees for the 2013 MTV Movie Awards. Both films earned seven nominations with Seth MacFarlane's R-rated "Ted" picking up a Movie of the Year nod, along with Best Female Performance for Mila Kunis. Quentin Tarantino's spaghetti Western-style "Django" scored an array of nominations including Best Villain for Leonardo DiCaprio and Best On-Screen Duo for DiCaprio and Samuel L. Jackson. Oscar-winner Jennifer Lawrence snagged five nominations, including Best Female Performance for "Silver Linings Playbook," as well as Best Kiss and Best Musical Moment with co-star Bradley Cooper. The Movie Awards will hand out golden popcorn trophies in Los Angeles on April 14.
