Piglet hogs New Zealand's waves

March 8 - New Zealand's latest surfing sensation is Zorro the piglet who has been hogging the waves since he was just three-weeks-old. Sarah Charlton reports.

When this little piggy went down to the beach one day, there're some that may've doubted his skills as a surfer. But Zorro has now been catching waves in New Zealand since he was just three-weeks-old. SOUNDBITE: (English) MATTHEW BELL, ZORRO'S OWNER SAYING: "He gets a bit scared when it gets double over head and double over head isn't that big for a pig." Owner Matthew Bell says the two-month-old has "phenomenal" swimming skills, and he's already picking up fans. SOUNDBITE: (English) MATTHEW BELL, ZORRO'S OWNER SAYING: "He's extremely friendly so he likes to visit children, grandparents, anyone really, anyone that wants to give him a pat." As Zorro grows his surfing career may be in jeopardy. SOUNDBITE: MATTHEW BELL, ZORRO'S OWNER SAYING (English): "We'll keep surfing until he gets to a size where he's unmanageable and, yes, see what happens after that." So while his admirers keep on baking on the beach, this little bit of bacon on the beach will keep hogging the waves.
