ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: Top Brazilian stylists presented their latest summer creations on Wednesday (March 20) at one of Latin America's most important fashion events, Sao Paulo Fashion Week (SPFW). The 35th edition of the biannual event is featuring 25 labels throughout the week at the Bienal pavilion decorated by the famous design duo Fernando and Humberto Campana. Agua de Coco trotted out their spring / summer collection, featuring beachwear that ranged from classic bikinis to full-length sarongs. Bright greens and yellows dominated the collection with floral and fruit patterns evoking thoughts of summer. Wednesday also highlighted the designs of Joao Pimenta, one of SPFW's only designers dedicated exclusively to menswear. He is largely known for finding inspiration for his men's line from women's fashions and experiments with street wear and tailoring. His summer collection received high praise and was seen by some as his most commercial collection. The line focused largely on blazers with colorful linings, unique cuts and designs. Brazil is Latin America's biggest economy and has one of the world's fastest-growing fashion industries.
