68 cities, 18 countries and more than 10 years later, Cirque Du Soleil's Varekai has come to Colombia.
The crowd pleasing show opened in Montreal, Canada in 2002 and has already been seen by 8 million people worldwide. Now it's dazzling audiences in Bogota, with colourful high-flying acrobatic, gymnastic and musical acts.
Varekai is the story about an Icarus that falls from the sky, says advertising director Cynthia Clemente.
(SOUNDBITE) Cynthia Clemente, Varekai Advertising Director, saying (English):
"When he falls from the sky, he enters in this kind of forest, magical forest, and then he meets a lot of people there. They are all creatures. Then, there, he has to learn how to move his legs for the first time and, in that process he finds love, he finds happiness, he finds sadness."
Varekai will run in Bogota until April 7.
